KSEB Net-Metering

How KSEB net-metering works

Net-metering is what lets your rooftop solar credit back to your bill. Here's the step-by-step process — all of which Solar Core handles for you.

The process

From application to net billing

Six clear stages take you from paperwork to a spinning-backward meter.

  1. 01

    Application

We submit your net-metering application to KSEB along with system details and required documents.

  2. 02

    Feasibility approval

KSEB reviews your connection and grid capacity, then issues a feasibility/technical approval.

  3. 03

    Installation

Solar Core installs your rooftop system to KSEB and electrical safety standards.

  4. 04

    Net-meter fitting

KSEB installs a bi-directional net meter that records both import and export of power.

  5. 05

    Inspection & commissioning

A KSEB inspection confirms the installation, and your system is officially commissioned.

  6. 06

    Net billing begins

Exported units are credited against imported units, so you're billed only on the net.
